What Was Mesas to Mountains?
Mesas to Mountains was a multi-state partnership between New Mexico State University’s Arrowhead Center, Montana State University TechLink, the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and the University of Idaho. This initiative created a pipeline of development for underrepresented businesses seeking SBIR/STTR funding for their innovative ideas.
The program utilized a collaborative, targeted approach to SBIR/STTR support, guiding businesses through agency selection, proposal creation, award management, and commercialization practices. By capitalizing on the individual strengths of each institution, the partnership provided a comprehensive foundation for participants to succeed.
While Mesas to Mountains is no longer active, NM FAST continues to support entrepreneurs and innovators through collaborative events and partnerships. Explore our upcoming workshops, webinars, and other opportunities to connect with resources and expertise across New Mexico and beyond.
