Program Overview

The New Mexico Clean Energy Resilience and Growth (NM CERG) cluster supports clean energy technology companies with resources for market capture, technology development, and long-term growth, fostering innovation and resilience in New Mexico’s clean energy sector.

 

Eligibility

We serve qualified clean energy technology companies seeking business development support, federal lab testing and evaluation partnerships, and guidance through the commercial market pipeline.

The Growth Pipeline for advanced Energy Technology Companies

The New Mexico Clean Energy Resilience and Growth (NM CERG) cluster – funded in part by the New Mexico Economic Development Department. Is a new effort targeting clean energy technology companies and providing them with the support they need to succeed. NM CERG’s model creates a pipeline for success, guiding participants through the steps necessary for growth and development and supporting them each step of the way.

 

Under NM CERG, qualified participants gain access to business development activities such as market capture, technology development through testing and evaluation with federal lab partners, and ongoing support for the duration of the commercial market pipeline. DEVELOPING IMPACTFUL TECHNOLOGY FOR NEW MEXICO

Applicants must have current operations in New Mexico, be planning to relocate operations to New Mexico, or have an energy-related technology with economic and/or social impacts for the state. New Mexico has a wealth of business development opportunities through state incentives, entrepreneurial assistance, and federal funding guidance. Merit

HAVE TECHNOLOGY WITH BOTH COMMERCIAL/TECHNICAL MERIT

Your technology must have commercial market applications and be feasible from a technical standpoint. During our intake process, we will meet with applicants to validate these criteria.

The NM CERG Steering Committee is made up of visionaries from the industrial sector, regional economic development, research institutions, regulatory commissioners, and others who support and grow the clean energy ecosystem. Our Steering Committee helps guide the efforts of NM CERG, ensuring we answer the needs of our region, and make New Mexico a state that supports a green future.
