Innoventure Jr Mascot Naming Contest

Help us name the Innoventure Jr mascot

Innoventure Jr. is holding a mascot naming contest for our lightbulb as a fun way for elementary students to explore creativity and entrepreneurial thinking.

Eligibility:

  • Open to elementary school classes only (grades K-5/6 if your school includes 6th grade).
  • Schools must be located in New Mexico.
  • Open to public schools, charter schools, private schools, tribal schools and homeschool groups.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Watch the Innoventure Jr. "What is an Entrepreneur?" video on YouTube. English and Spanish links below.
  2. Complete the accompanying class activity for your grade level. Activities are in both English and Spanish.
  3. Work together as a class to brainstorm a name for the lightbulb mascot.
  4. Take a photo of the class holding the completed activity OR scan the pages. You can submit both.
  5. Submit your class's chosen name and the photo/scan via the Google form below.

RULES TO KNOW

  1. One submission per class, multiple entries allowed per school.
  2. Names must be school-appropriate.
  3. Submission must include an upload of a photo of the class with the activity or scanned activity pages.
  4. Only classes that meet eligibility requirements will be counted.

The 1st Place Classroom's school will receive $500 in instructional or student enrichment materials* if at least 3 classroom submissions are received from that school.
