Socioeconomic Impacts of THEMAC Copper Flat Mine Project

This study estimates the socioeconomic impact of The New Mexico Copper Corporation (NMCC), wholly owned by THEMAC Resources Group Limited (THEMAC), proposal to reopen a copper mine and processing facility near Hillsboro, NM. The proposed Project would consist of an open pit mine, flotation mill, tailings impoundment, waste rock disposal areas, a low-grade ore stockpile, and ancillary facilities. As a part of the permitting process, NMCC has commissioned Arrowhead Center, Inc. of New Mexico State University to conduct a socioeconomic impact study of the proposed mine.
