One of the Arrowhead Center's primary objectives is to provide NMSU students with directed learning experiences to develop their skill set and prepare them to enter the workforce. In order to accomplish this goal, the Arrowhead Center offers opportunities including internships/co-ops, undergraduate research employment opportunities, and graduate research assistantships.

Students who work on cutting-edge research projects or develop business plans for operating companies gain a great deal of experience and insight beyond their academic studies. These opportunities afford students the chance to dig into the real business environment, and learn how business is done in a realistic setting, and provide students with networking opportunities that may become invaluable when searching for future employment. With these opportunities come very high expectations for research capabilities, professionalism, and work ethic.
