Arrowhead Center Student Innovation Teams
Student Innovation Teams are the driving force for business research and entrepreneurship at the Arrowhead Center. Students with backgrounds in business, engineering, health sciences, education, the arts, and agriculture collaborate on business research endeavors that will shape New Mexico’s future. Student Innovation Teams are comprised of two to five students, each representing a separate discipline, who bring together a wealth of ideas, knowledge, and research expertise. Student Innovation Teams work on University research projects or provide business assistance to New Mexico businesses, government agencies, and the private sector.
Since the Arrowhead Center accepts a wide variety of projects, the type of research for Student Innovation Teams varies considerably. One project might be to find commercial applications for nanotechnology, while another project might be to develop a business plan for a pecan farmer in Eastern New Mexico. Although there are drastic differences, the Arrowhead Center has established a specific project management process.
