Arrowhead Park will be conducting a master development and land use planning effort beginning in August 2015 to guide future development of building and Park infrastructure. We have contracted with the nationally recognized firm Dekker Perich Sabatini of Albuquerque, NM, increasing our ability to develop and market the Park in support of our research and technology commercialization missions and the University’s overall commitment to sustainable economic development for the region.
A market study to identify regional demand is underway, seeking to develop a prioritized land use plan for the Park. Design charrettes will be held in September 2015 to garner university, community, and regional inputs. Alternatives for a master planned campus development will be considered, along with adaptation of new architectural styles, landscape design, and sustainable environments.
The outputs from this effort will assist us in developing and marketing the Park for years to come as we seek to become “the premier regional community for science, technology, and innovation.
