Los Alamos National Laboratory

Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is a Department of Energy national laboratory, managed by the University of California. LANL is one of the largest multidisciplinary institutions in the world. Approximately one-third of the Laboratory's technical staff members are physicists, one-fourth are engineers, one-sixth are chemists and materials scientists, and the remainder work in mathematics and computational science, biological science, geosciences, and other disciplines. The Arrowhead Center works directly with LANL through the New Mexico Small Business Assistance program to assist small businesses in the commercialization of viable technologies.

Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance

The Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance (MVEDA) is a public/private sector economic development partnership that serves Las Cruces and Doña Ana County. The Arrowhead Center and MVEDA have a strong partnership and a shared objective of expanding business to the Las Cruces community. MVEDA and the Arrowhead Center have collaborated on research projects and real estate initiatives.

New Mexico Economic Development Department

The New Mexico Economic Development Department (NMEDD) has a shared goal of raising the standard of living for New Mexicans, providing better jobs, and generating wealth. The NMEDD and the Arrowhead Center collaborate on business research and economic development projects in cities and counties across New Mexico. The Arrowhead Center and NMEDD teamed up to develop the Southwest Regional Spaceport Business Plan and Strategic Plan – a successful effort to bring the Spaceport to Southern New Mexico.

New Mexico Tech (NMT) and the Arrowhead Center have a shared goal of bringing technology-based economic development to New Mexico. NMT is an outstanding research university, specializing in the areas of science, engineering, and related fields. NMT is a world leader in many areas of research, including homeland security, information technology, and energetic materials engineering. NMT has an outstanding reputation as well, offering strong mentoring and hands-on learning experiences for its students in its research facilities.

Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) is a SNL of Energy national laboratory, managed by the Lockheed Martin company. Since 1949, has developed science-based technologies that support U.S. national security. Current efforts focus on technologies and solutions to solve national and global threats to peace and freedom in the areas of nuclear weapons, energy, resources and nonproliferation, defense systems and assessments, and homeland security and defense. The Arrowhead Center works directly with SNL through the New Mexico Small Business Assistance program to assist small businesses in the commercialization of viable technologies.

The New Mexico Small Business Development Center Network (NMSBDC Network) provide management assistance to current and prospective small business owners and provides a wide variety of information, training, guidance and counseling through 19 locations across New Mexico. The Arrowhead Center works closely with NM SBDC's in the provision of services to small and start-up businesses and joint educational efforts.

Technology Ventures Corporation

Technology Ventures Corporation (TVC) and the Arrowhead Center are teamed to support entrepreneurs in the business planning process. TVC identifies technologies with commercial potential, coordinates the development of business and management capabilities, and seeks sources of capital investment for the businesses. The Arrowhead Center assists TVC and its clients in the business planning process.
